Wales & West Photography Show returns on 18 June

Wales’ largest free photo and video show is back at the International Convention Centre Wales, Newport — three days of kit, talks, workshops, demonstrations and creative community.

If you are into photography, video, lighting, content creation, camera gear, workshops or simply meeting other creatives, put Thursday 18 June 2026 in the diary. The Wales & West Photography Show runs from 18–20 June 2026 at ICC Wales in Newport, with free main-event tickets available now.

The show started in 2022 as a dedicated hub for passionate creatives. It has grown into a major regional photography and video event, bringing together exhibitors, educators, hands-on demos, seminars and retail expertise from official retail partner Camera Centre UK.

What to expect

Expect a practical, hands-on show rather than a passive trade display. The programme combines brand stands, buying advice, talks, workshops and real-world demonstrations, giving photographers and videographers a chance to try gear, ask questions and come away with new ideas.

Workshops and masterclasses

Alongside the free main event, the 2026 programme currently lists paid masterclasses including Canine Photography with Abbie Kyte, Fashion & Portrait Photography with Sam Nash, Automotive Portraits with Gary Hill, Luxury Without the Studio: Live Maternity Photowalk, and Macro Photography for Beginners with Stewart Wood. Some sessions are already showing limited availability, so it is worth booking early if a workshop catches your eye.
